spacer Ana LaDou - Not-For-Profit Career

Ana LaDou served as CEO of Variety - The Children's Charity of the United States from 2002- 2009. During her tenure at Variety, Ms. LaDou led a strategic reorganization and established fiscal responsibility standards nationwide, while strengthening the charity's governance and branding. To enhance organizational trust with the communities Variety served, Ms. LaDou built a national brand around local ideas, including the mobility program Variety Kids on the Go! This innovative approach provided ‘brand name’ status to Variety’s work, helped increase fundraising, and forged new relationships with existing sponsors and supporters. “As both a member of the exec board and chair of the marketing committee, I had the good fortune of working very closely with Ana LaDou for several years. She has the rare combination of skills that allows her to create new ideas and opportunities as well as execute them flawlessly. A consummate relationship builder, Ana would be an asset to any organization!”
