Ana LaDou’s entertainment career launched at the Bauhaus of independent film marketing, Miramax Films. Working directly with Harvey and Bob Weinstein she quickly learned the art of promotions and niche marketing…not to mention keeping a cool head under fire. During her tenure at Miramax she created and developed promotion strategies and worked directly with media and distribution departments in planning the film release schedule. In addition to providing marketing direction to field agencies, she worked closely with record soundtrack marketing companies and created licensing, merchandising and promotions strategies generating in excess of $2.5 million in promotional value for such high grossing films at “Pulp Fiction”.

After leaving Miramax, Ana spent the next year marketing for Fox Searchlight, and several independent producers before taking time off to start a family.
